Cycle Kirklees – the Kirklees Cycling Campaign – will be rallying to demonstrate concern about the long-term closure of a section of the Colne Valley Greenway at the Huddersfield Narrow Canal at Longroyd Bridge, Huddersfield on Saturday morning 14th October at 11.00 by Hearth & Home, Manchester Road HD1 3JB
We have objected to this new planning application for Halifax Road – for improvement and widening of the A629). It does not include provision for dedicated cycling paths or alternatives. In part, that was meant to be provided by Phase 4 – but this has been sidelined indefinitely.
